My Hair is a Mop

My hair is a mop,

My face, a floor.

Don’t even get me started!

Don’t ask how many times I clean.

My hair is a mop,

My face, a floor.

Do you know how messy tears are?

No, really.

Do you know how I spend hours, hours!

In keeping the floor spotless?

My hair is a mop,

My face, a floor.

When the windows open, even if sunlight comes in,

Tears are really difficult to dry.

Really, really difficult to dry.

My hair is a mop,

My face, a floor.

When it is in a bun or a neat ponytail,

My hands are rugs,

Sometimes, they do a satisfactory job

Unti… they cover windows and the taps seem like they’re broken.

My hair is a mop,

My face, a floor.

When it’s loosely tied, my hands are rugs.

They wipe away tears, the random ones.

Well, this only happens when there are leaks.

(Renovation is strongly recommended.)

(Slow down, at work.)
