Kibungan was leading 16-14 but a 6-0 run of Bakun saw their neighbor taking a four-point lead, 20-16. And just like that, Kibungan woke up, scored three straight points to make it a single point advantage for Bakun.
A time out by Kibungan saw them take three straight points and a 22-20 advantage. But Bakun fought back and take a 23-22 lead, before Kibungan finished the game with a 3-0 run to finish of their neighbors.
Elibeth Aludos added 10 points for Kibungan built on four attack points and six service aces, while Emma Eliw added seven markers on four attacks and three aces.
Kate Guing-oy led Bakun with six markers.
Kibungan improved to 2-4 win-loss slate, its other win coming from the defaulted game against Itogon, while Bakun further hogged the cellar with a 0-5 card. CEGYCC Release
