You consider yourself an expert in a particular field, or niche. You have so much to share, but don’t know where to begin. For two days next week (Tuesday, June 30; and Wednesday, July 1), Podvoice will hold Podcast Launch Mastery at Media Lab Ph which will turn your expertise into a podcast, create opportunities for you, and allow you to leave a lasting legacy.
The Podcast Launch Mastery Workshop is a structured, hands-on program designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to successfully conceptualize, produce, and launch a podcast. “From developing a strong show identity to mastering recording techniques, storytelling, editing, and distribution strategies, this workshop ensures that participants are prepared to create impactful podcasts that build influence and authority,” said Podcast Launch Mastery founder Brien Ordiales.
The indefatigable husband-and-wife team of Joyce Burton Titular and Ron Titular will jointly facilitate the Voice Development Masterclass on Day 1, as well as the Vocal Yoga and Performance Reset on Day 2.
Ordiales said the sessions of the Titular couple will delve more on voice mastery, “Helping people connect deeply with their voices.” He added that “That in itself is crucial when you are exploring how you can express yourself through content – whether as a business owner, as a sales professional, or as someone who uses their voice in their craft or field of expertise. That’s very important,” he stressed, and that’s why they are first in the line of podcasting mentors for the two-day workshop.
Simply Designs Studio and Overflow Education founder Jennifer Estil will guide the participants on how they can proceed From a Podcast Idea to Visual Authority. Estil – whose main expertise is visual branding – will mainly talk about “how you can represent yourself through visual graphics in terms of your branding.”
Ordiales himself will facilitate sessions on the Hands-On Podcasting Workshop, and Podcast Management and Distribution. He said that podcasting is “the alternative content format that not a lot of people (have actually) explored. In the Philippines, it’s still “up and coming” and is “on the rise.”
Chino Granda will tackle Basic Cinematography for podcasters. Ordiales said Granda will delve “more on the production, the simplified way of creating content (by learning) basic cinematography principles.”
Ordiales and Granda will jointly conduct a Podcast Setup Walkthrough with the participants.
The workshop participants will have the opportunity to set up and record their own respective solo live podcasts on Day I. They will also get to edit it, and share it with their fellow participants and the resource speakers for assessment, guidance, and mentoring on Day 2, via the Simplified Podcast Editing Workflow session by Juneil Abueva (a.k.a. Duekneel).
Ordiales said that Abueva “is a known content creator, who creates tutorials on video editing principles…very much about straightforward content editing workflow.”
There will also be Individual Editing Labs and a Video Edit Showcase.
Also on Day 2, entrepreneur and content creator Lui Baarde will talk about Multi-Passionate Branding.
This session will be held because “We’re not defined by one single thing,” said Ordiales. “It’s up to us to explore our passions in life, and how we’re able to monetize from it.” He added that although people have core competencies, they could have multiple passions, and “it’s up to us to try to figure out what those are.”
One of the advocacies of the organization is to help individuals with the skills and credibility build their online authority via podcasting.
The workshop shall provide “a step-by-step system for business owners and aspiring podcasters to create content consistently through podcasting,” said Ordiales.
There are very limited in-person seats (Pro and VIP). There are tickets as well for those who’d like to join via Zoom. To enroll, log on to www.podvoice.ph. Media Lab Ph is located at Ayala Malls by the Bay.
