LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – When Kibungan had an off day, Itogon took full advantage of it and cruise to a 112-66 victory in the Cong. Eric Go Yap Congressional Cup (CEGYCC) Benguet Basketball League Saturday at the Benguet Sports Complex here.
Leonard Cadanes and Kim Padawag scored 19 and 16 points, respectively to power last year’s third placed team to their third win and take the early lead in the 13-team league backed by Cong. Eric Yap, the ACT – CIS Party List and the Media for Sports Development.
Jan Ganilo and Lenz Antolino added 16 and 12 respectively for Itogon, the latter scored all from rainbow country, as the southern mining town had a league high score and biggest winning margin of 46 points.
Romel Lavandia and John Paul Juralbal led Kibungan with 14 and 12 points, respectively, as the team fell to a 1-2 win-loss slate. CEGYCC Release
