While Baguio City athletes are lesser known when it comes to swimming, a few have raised the bar and even won medals in national and international competition.

The likes of Lorenzo Jenkins Labao, who stormed the 2014 Batang Pinoy National Championship with seven golds medals and Maenard Batnag, who won five gold medals in swimming during the 2016 National Batang Pinoy have paved the way for Baguio based swimmers to excel in the sport.

Seventeen – year – old Dhana Victoria Seda of Christian Legacy Academy (12th Grade) is among those new breeds of swimmers here in the highland ready to make waves in the local, national, and hopefully international competition.

Since taking up swimming back when eight years ago, Seda has been consistently representing the city and region including Palarong Pambansa and Batang Pinoy National Finals.
