SN Aboitiz Power-Benguet, Inc. received recognition from the Energy Regulatory Commission for the Binga hydroelectric power plant’s operational performance and commitment to ensuring a reliable electricity supply during the commission’s 25th anniversary celebration in Pasig City.
Andrea Toyoda, assistant vice president for regulatory affairs at SNAP, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
The recognition highlights the Binga hydro facility’s technical expertise and dedication to maintaining high standards of plant performance.
The anniversary event, themed “The Next Watt: 25 Years of Regulating for a Modern Energy Future,” brought together leaders from across the Philippine energy sector. Industry stakeholders discussed their roles in advancing a resilient, future-ready power grid.
