“It felt like this sketch was not forced. I’ve been eager to sketch since Nov. 2 but it really felt like it was obligating. So, today after lunch, my friend,Β DonnaΒ just wanted to do a quick sketch near a mobile cafe in the park. I didn’t even have any materials, so she lent me her brush pen and gave me a very nice piece of paper.
I held the brush pen and paper and it just flowed. I didn’t even touch my coffee as I was laser-focused. It would be swell to color it but as I was adding more details something inside me said, β€œThat is very nice as it is.” Yeah, it was and I felt very good about it.” Joel RigonanΒ
The Bag-iw Sketchers is a team of artists who sketch scenes from the city, documenting history through their drawings.
