COMELEC celebrates 85 years of service

BAGUIO CITY — The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) commemorates its 85th anniversary with a photo exhibit, currently on display at the Lower Basement of SM City Baguio until October 31, 2025.

The exhibit showcases a collection of photographs from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) provinces and the COMELEC Central Office, capturing the institution’s milestones, evolution, and enduring commitment to public service and democratic integrity.

Through this exhibit, COMELEC invites the public to reflect on the agency’s eight decades of dedication to ensuring free, fair, and credible elections across the country.

This initiative forms part of COMELEC’s nationwide celebration of its 85th anniversary, highlighting its mission to uphold transparency, strengthen democratic participation, and honor the legacy of electoral service in the Philippines.
